InStock Services ("InStock," "we," "us") runs instockservices.com and advertises on LinkedIn. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, fill in one of our forms, or respond to one of our ads, and how we use it. If you have a question this page doesn't answer, email us at hello@instockservices.com.

1. What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. We do not buy data about you and we do not track you across other websites.

Quote requests

When you ask for a quote, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company or organization name, and whatever you tell us about your project (what you need shipped or assembled, quantities, timing).

Email sign-ups

If you subscribe to receive an offer or updates, we collect your email address.

LinkedIn lead forms

If you download one of our guides or send us a request through a LinkedIn ad, LinkedIn shares with us the details you submit on that form, typically your name, email address, company, and job title, and any answer you type into the form. LinkedIn's own handling of your data is covered by LinkedIn's privacy policy.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.

2. How we use it

• To answer your quote request and prepare a quote.
• To send you the guide or information you asked for.
• To follow up about your project, by email or phone.
• To send occasional emails about our services, if you signed up for them. You can stop these at any time (see section 6).
• To understand which of our ads and pages are useful, in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

3. Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and talk to you. They only process your information on our behalf:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the forms you submit.
• LinkedIn, which operates the ads and lead forms described above.
• Email and productivity tools we use to read and reply to your messages.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

4. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as remembering that you closed a pop-up. We do not currently run analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

5. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. We keep email subscriptions until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see section 6).

6. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe: every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we will remove you.
• Access, correct, or delete: email hello@instockservices.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, unless we need to keep it for a legal or business reason (for example, records of an order).
• Do not sell or share: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and you can exercise them through the same email address. We will not treat you differently for doing so.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using a secure (HTTPS) connection for this website and limiting who on our team can see form submissions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top.
